This was my first time visiting even though I've had it bookmarked FOREVER. I love finding good coffee shops to do work because as much as I say I can study at home, it doesn't happen lol.

For me, this place checked off basically all my boxes and the customer service here is LOVELY. So I want to start with the customer service:
    1. Everyone who worked here was so friendly, caring, and attentive
    2. The guy who seemed to be the owner insisted on refreshing my beverage free of charge and omg I appreciated it so much even though I dont drink that much coffee!! Low key love him haha! I ordered a blended mocha and he refilled with an iced coffee. The staff consistently walk around to refill people's mugs of brewed hot coffee, so I think they just give free basic coffee refills no matter what, which is so sweet!
    3. The staff were chatting with lots of the customers too and so the vibe just felt very warm and relationship-oriented.

The other positive things if you're looking for a study spot:
    1. Plenty of outlets & free unlimited wifi
    2. It wasnt difficult to get a table at all
    3. Free parking for 2 hrs in neighborhoods (short walk & can easily move car for more time) - note that parking in the neighborhoods become permit only at 6 pm and on, so you'd have to switch to meter at 6 pm I believe.
    4. Food to eat if you stay a while - I ordered the breakfast florentine sandwich on a croissant, I thought it was good and satisfying! It doesnt have sauce but I thought it didnt matter, but if you care about that, now you know lol.
    5. Music is pretty low volume & the cafe itself is generally quiet. Maybe light chatter but nothing distracting while I was there.
    6. Prices for drinks/food are inexpensive/reasonable! This is not your boujee coffee shop so all the prices are nice on your wallet but dont expect like Ethiopian coffee. I personally thought the blended mocha was really yummy (I only order black coffee when at those boujee places, otherwise bring on the sugar/cream/chocolate bb)! When I received the free iced coffee refill, I enjoyed it because it tasted like barley tea which no is probably not what you're looking for but I'm asian and eat at a lot of korean places that 80% of the time serve barley tea so I felt weirdly comforted haha.
    7. Bathroom is small but clean and well maintained!

I really like this place for all the reasons others are noting. It is friendly and un-fussy; the coffee was good; the Greek Salad was good; it was a relaxed and quiet environment to work for a few hours. It feels like a neighborhood place -- it doesn't feel like there's some corporate presence or marketing function injected into your experience; you're just paying some money to sit somewhere pleasant and drink some coffee and work. It is great.

I found parking pretty easily on Orange (it is 2 hour parking, so I did move my car, but Orange is right there and this didn't feel like a big deal).

No more our favorite person working there. Only one guy working but he has an English barrier.

Neighborhood staple, been around for decades. So much has closed down because of the impossible rents and over zealous development. Mellow rustic atmosphere not trendy, more like the way they used to be before the big corp coffee takeover. They have a nice selection of sandwiches and desserts, have breakfast as well. They support local artists and display their work on the walls. Go here and keep the disappearing local small businesses alive!!!

Best spot to study or get some work done! Comfy, affordable, not noisy. The owner was the icing on the cake as he came around multiple times to top off everyone's coffee.
